The Waterford Aged Care Facility community clubhouse was flooded from the monsoon rainfall that had been lashing South East Queensland in late 2024.
With the clubhouse flooded and no place for presents to be laid under a Christmas tree, Christmas day looked a bleak one for the Talbarra residents.
Until, that was, Brisbane Building Services were called in to save the day! The countdown to Christmas day was on, the stakes high, and the prospects bleak when the boys arrived on site…...
But, like the elves working tirelessly and frantically, our BBS boys worked tirelessly to fix the clubhouse to save Christmas. Christmas has been saved for the residents of Talbarra Aged Care Facility. Some would call it a success story worthy of a Christmas movie!
